Simple Present Tense

Simple Present Tense

Simple Present Tense is a sentence that declares an act or activities that take place / occur at the current time in the form of a simple or a job done repeatedly, daily habits, events or acts that have nothing to do with time, and to express general truths.
(+) S + V1
(-) S + do,does + not + V1
(?) do/does + S + V1
example:
I am a listening music (+)
I am not a listening music (-)
Am I a listening music (?)

Simple past tense

Simple past tense is used to talk about a completed action in a time before now. Duration is not important. The time of the action can be in the recent past or the distant past.
(+) S + V2
(-) S + did + not + V1
(?) dit + S + V1

Present/past Continous Tense

The present/past continuous describes actions or events in a time before now, which began in the past and is still going on at the time of speaking. In other words, it expresses an unfinished or incomplete action in the past.
(+) S + be + Ving
(-) S + be + not + Ving
(?) be + S + Ving

Simple future tense

The simple future refers to a time later than now, and expresses facts or certainty. In this case there is no 'attitude'.
(+) S + Will + V1
(-) S + Will + not + V1
(+) Will + S + V1

Present perpect tense

The present perfect of any verb is composed of two elements : the appropriate form of the auxiliary verb to have (present tense), plus the past participle of the main verb. The past participle of a regular verb is base+ed, e.g. played, arrived, looked. For irregular verbs, see the Table of irregular verbs in the section called 'Verbs'.
(+) S + has/have + V3(-) S + has/have + not + V3
(?) has/have + S + V3

EXERCISE
1.She (drink) coffee. (S. Past)
Answer :
(+) She drank coffee
(-) She didn’t drink coffee
(?) Did she drink coffee?
2.They (Start) the course. (Pr. Perfect)

(-) They haven’t started the course

3.Ana and Linda (open) the account (Past Cont)
Answer :
(+) Ana and Linda were opening the account

4.The bank (close) at 5pm (S. Present)
Answer :

My Favorite Movie

hay how are all, I want to tell ya about my favorite movie this film also happens to be exactly what I experienced just the title of his movie is ONE HOUR ONLY played by VINO G BASTIAN, nah I just tell you briefly nya..berawal of friendship which ends its end there is a sense suka..ibarat love triangle so deh..cuman spouse already going out with my friends, incidentally he also liked the same girl, but unfortunately already belong to her friends but not until his fight there in willingly sincere patience to wait for the right time to enter the life nya..namun all it contradicts the girl was not like her because of what their style dibading delinquent but her guy, just to point his itama iti nah girl pregnant with her guy yet the guy was running some where, well that's when the vino to help her look for her, where mana..ke accompany him to the doctor but the girl is still not aware of time sensitive or si vino loved him very much, until until the vino pawn his motorcycle on a treatment the girl was. but as time went on the vino was already lied to her late ketahuan..si girl was immediately go home and vent his mother, but did not give him vino explain it all to her mother never explained his vino while the girl was heard, now that's where the new girl conscious, but the end of his girl was admitted to hospital but then suddenly his guy datang..dan vino willingly and sincerely instead of clean hard to revert laginah this is the same story wktu percis to what I experienced YOU NOT UNTIL but sacrifices there must be results because no matter how small will not be worth sia..terimakasih

1. Subject is the person/people/thing(s) that do the activity.
example : I, you, they, we, she, he, it, my dad and my mom, Linda, Sussi, Linda and Sussi, the bank, the flight schedule, etc.
2. Verb is a word used to describe an action, state, or occurrence, and forming the main part of the predicate of a sentence.
Kinds of Verb
a. Action verbs Also known as "Main Verb".Action verbs are words that express action (give, eat, walk, etc.) or possession (have, own, etc.). Action verbs can be either transitive (with object) or intransitive (without object)
b. Lingking Verbs A linking verb connects the subject of a sentence to a noun or adjective that renames or describes the subject. To Be: is, am, are, was, were
c. Helping Verbs are used before action or linking verbs to convey additional information regarding aspects of possibility (can, could, etc.) or time (was, did, has, etc.)
3. MAIN RULE OF “Subject Verb Agreement”
a.    Subject and Verbs must agree in number.
b.    Dont get confused by words.
c.    Prepositional phrases between the subject and verb
d.    When sentences start with “there” or “here,” the subject will always be placed after the verb, so care needs to be taken to identify it correctly.
e.    two subjects are joined by and, they typically require a plural verb form.
f.    The verb is singular if the two subjects separated by and refer to the same person.
g.    every, or no comes before the subject, the verb is singular.
h.    If the subjects are both singular and are connected by the words or, nor,neither/nor, either/or, and not only/but also the verb is singular.
i.    when noun and pronoun subjects like some, half, none, more, all, etc. are followed by a prepositional phrase.
j. The singular verb form is usually used for units of measurement or time
k. If the subjects are both plural and are connected by the words or, nor, neither/nor, either/or, and not only/but also, the verb is plural
l. one subject is singular and one plural and the words are connected by the words or, nor,
m. Indefinite pronouns (everything, anything, everyone, someone, somebody, nothing, etc) typically take singular verbs.
n. Except for the pronouns (few, many, several, both, all, some) that always take the plural form.
o. If two infinitives are separated by and they take the plural form of the verb
p. When gerunds are used as the subject of a sentence, they take the singular verb form of the verb.
q. Collective nouns like family, committee, herd, senate, class, crowd, etc. usually take a singular verb form.
r. Titles of books, movies, novels, etc. are treated as singular and take a singular Verb.
